France: Bugatti exhibits world's most expensive car among Christmas decorations

'La Voiture Noir,' or 'The Black Car,' by Bugatti is considered to be the most expensive new car in the world. Bugatti factory which is located in Molsheim, has decided to offer its neighbours a Christmas exhibition of the priceless set of wheels. The car is on display in the main square in Molsheim (Bas-Rhin) and will remain there until the end of march.

"I came here today because I would like to see this car and because I never saw it. Yes, I'm just behind this car and it's a fantastic car. I work in the automobile industry, in marketing, so I'm really interested in the new technologies of cars, the design, and all," stated local resident Julien Baumert.

As there will be no Christmas market this year in Molsheimdue to the coronavirus pandemic, but as a consolation Bugatti is exhibiting one of its four-wheeled jewels on the Place de l'Hotel de Ville, where the Christmas market is usually based.

"This car was designed before this year. But, I think it's a good thing for us because in Elsace we are proud of Bugatti, really proud. It's an expensive car but I think the brand can show all the technology they can make in the car, like the wheels, the lights," Baumert went on to say.

The unique model has an estimated price of €17 million ($20.7 million) with all taxes included. Bugatti currently lists the tax-free price of the car at €11 million ($13.4 million)
